Chris Henderson, chairman of the hall, said: “There was a glitch in the NHS system that didn’t give the Memorial Hall site as an option. The booking system has improved but some people are still having problems.

“If anyone is unable to book the Pateley Bridge vaccination centre online or through 119, they should telephone the Pateley Bridge Pharmacy on 01423 711329.”

He added that nearly 300 are booked in for Saturday, April 17.

“Patients have remarked how well organised it is at the Memorial Hall and how quick the vaccination process was,” he said.

People are being reminded that it is only the AstraZenaca jab at Pateley.
