Met Office issues further weather warnings as Harrogate faces snow and ice

A yellow warning for snow and rain is in place until 3pm today, and then a yellow warning for ice has been put in place from 8pm tonight until 10am tomorrow.

Residents across the Harrogate district awoke to blankets of snow this morning, with many schools closed and disruption to travel across the area.
