Mark Oxley: Harrogate Town confirm contact has been made with Southend United goalkeeper
The 30-year-old’s contract with Southend United expires this summer and it was reported last week that the Sulphurites had spoken to the ex-Hull City stopper regarding his future plans.
According to the Southend Echo, Oxley – who has made 169 appearances since joining the Shrimpers from Hibernian in 2016 – has been offered a new deal to stay at Roots Hall, though it is unclear whether he intends to sign it.

“He’s a goalkeeper whom I admire, but that is all I can say.”
Harrogate currently have two goalkeepers on their books, 30-year-old James Belshaw, who has been Weaver's first choice during his four seasons at the club, and Joe Cracknell, 26, who recently signed a new one-year deal at Wetherby Road.
But, following the release of eight out-of-contract players and the return to their parent club of five loanees, plenty of incomings are expected over the coming months.

The 23-year-old's capture takes the total number of senior players at Weaver's disposal heading into the 2020/21 campaign to 18.
