Stephen Walker scored twice for Mike Bligh's men with the other goals arriving courtesy of Blaine Hobson and substitute Matthew Thompson.
The third victory of Boro's season moved them above Wyke Wanderers on goal difference and into 14th place.

Knaresborough face bottom of the league Wyke on Saturday before facing Otley away on Wednesday evening.
Wetherby Athletic aided Knaresborough's survival bid and remained on course for a record high finish in the Prmeier League themselves after hammering Otley 5-1 on Wednesday.

Hide AdJon Maloney gave Wetherby a first half lead before Athletic wrapped up the points with four second half goals.
Dom Creamer was on the scoresheet twice, with Maloney and Marcus Day also on the scoresheet.
Wetherby are in fifth place going into Saturday's home clash against 11th-placed Robin Hood Athletic.
In Division One, the North Yorkshire derby spoils went in favour of sixth-placed Boroughbridge as Ripon City fell further towards relegation.
Former Ripon player James McDaid scored the only goal of the game with four minutes remaining.
